Sounds to me like you are looking for a Swiss Army knife. I couldn't find out how heavy the PC1x is.ĭo you know if the PC1x is significantly lighter then PC2x ? I wouldn't like to go much lighter than this. I tried the PC1x and its touch seems to be perfect for me. I am just afraid that the keyboard could be too light. Its size and same features as PC2x would be perfect for me. Only the weight and slow keyboard are my main concerns. Its sounds and features definatelly satisfy my taste. I would prefere to bring only one keyboard on shows and a lighter and faster version of PC2x would be a perfect choice. That's why I was thinking that PC2 would solve the problem.ģ. Due to its weight I am avoiding to bring this board on shows although I would love to play on it. This force me to bring two keyboard for gigging which I hate.Ģ. Therefore I decided to completely 'abandon' this feature and use my Triton for organs. Since the PC2x has fully weighted keys I find it difficult to use KB3 mode since the keyboard it too slow for faster organ improvisations. The reason that I am thinking of replacing the PC2x with PC2 or PC1x is:ġ. That's why I would like to stay with Kurzweil. I tried other controllers but they didn't impress me like PC2x. I own PC2X and as you mentioned this is fabulous keyboard.
